Hello bikers! Welcome to Finale Ligure.

Finale Ligure is a mountain bike paradise for any outdoor activity, but on my blog we talk about mountain biking.

A unique location in the world because here there is no suitable season for riding, here you always ride all year round. That's why I chose to live and open my business, Casa Manu, here, lovely apartments for tourist use.

Wake up in Finale Ligure

Wake up in the morning, focaccia with cappuccino, set your mountain bike and ready to go!, Every day here is different, every trail is different.

This morning is muddy in in Base Nato or at Melogno, many bikers mistakenly think that the day is lost, but it is not so. The Finale Ligure Region offers a low trail network that is just as fun and challenging.

If you want to tackle more technical and very local trails, pedal towards San Bernardino. Here the spectacular trails of the EWS await you. Stones, lots of stones, narrow but quiet trails. The secret of Finale Ligure? If you have to pedal you will certainly find less passage of bikers. There are several trails in San Bernardino, Ruggetta, Dolmen or the magnificent Sentiero del Cucco, the perfect connection to get to Orco Feglino.

Rollercoaster Finale Ligure

If San Bernardino area is not enough for you, one of my favorite places remains the Caparazoppa area. Here you may enjoy incredible view and funny trails. Along this winter, the trail builders have done an amazing job, the X-men trail and the historic Bondi have been completely shaped. We always talk about technical trails where riding technique is fundamental.

The iconic and symbolic trails of Finale Ligure are an evergreen, whether it's your first time or you don't know how many times you've come here to ride, Rollercoaster is always a must trail.

Personally I don't like to ride to the start of the trail, I prefer a convenient and fast shuttle service (Finale Express company) departing from Finalborgo that loads your bike and takes you directly to the start of the trail. Roller is fast, fun, 6.4km long. Its iconic compressions give way to the rugged section of San Pantaleo, characterized by rock and certainly more technical than the first part.

I forgot Roller has a start with a ramp with roots, it has become a must too!

Parallel to the Roller there is another long path, also a classic, the Toboga di Canova.Divided into various sections, the flow of the first part gives way to a central part characterized by narrow rocky passages. Obviously, it's my favorite part.

Another cult place and I would say with an almost mystical fog is the ex military NATO BASE, for us bikers simply Base. The base, in fact, because several paths start from here. From the legendary three, Base Nato, Madre Natura and 115 to the only (perhaps) flow trail in Finale Ligure, Crestino.

I have mentioned just a few trails in a truly unique mountain bike region, with several riding possibilities. I like to remember that Finale Ligure is not a bike park, our hinterland is a complex and fragile territory. Here we question ourselves, sometimes we arrive sure of our riding level but the trails of the Finale area put us to the test.

We ride bikes, but we like the Dolce Vita. Finale Ligure is sharing an aperitif with friends on the seafront, it's eating an ice cream, it's swimming in the sea after a day of riding, it's pizza and beer on the beach, it's happiness

The perfect season for the Finale area? Personally, every day is perfect, every day there is a path waiting for you.
